Hi Gary,
Do that mean that if I branch the IO to a FW800 PC card with two FW ports, the port that remains free get disable?
I’ve been thinking to buy a IOHD to work with my MBP. As long as the MBP have only one FW800 port, I thought to buy a LaCie PC FW800 card. This have two FW800 and one FW400 ports. So enough for the IO and the external memory.
Them I guess that is better to use the PC card to conect the HDs, so I can use all his ports. And the IO conected directly to the lap-top FW800 port.
More or less?
Thanks,
Rafael -

November 2, 2007 at 3:50 pmYes. Connect your FW800 drives to the Express-34 adapter and connect the ioHD directly to your laptop’s FW800 port. Do not connect the FW800 drives and ioHD to the same Express-34 adapter.
