I could be wrong (and often am wrong), but the only card that can capture two streams at once is the Blackmagic DUO, which you can use with Softron Software.

AJA VTR Xchange was only designed to accept one video source at a time. Software provided by other companies can, in some cases, use the two inputs of the KONA 3 and KONA 3G cards. One example is QTAKE HD which can be used with a KONA 3 card to capture two independent video sources.

To my understanding you can install 2 cards in 1 Mac Pro is this correct? If so can you capture 2 feeds if you have 2 cards installed with VTR Exchange?

Yes, you can install two (or more) KONA cards in one Mac Pro. Typically, this functionality is accessed by third party softwares which have a need for the of multiple cards, but it can be used with some retail AJA software. However, AJA VTR Xchange can only access one AJA KONA card at a time.
