Kona 3 vs. MXO2 for down / cross conversion
With the introduction of the MXO 2, has anyone had the chance to test the cross/down conversion of this box?
I’m becoming increasingly unhappy with the ringing / artifacting coming on the downconversion of my Kona3…
AJA has acknowledged that there is can be issue with “high frequency” material (ie: graphics and letterboxing on Downconversion). I’m surprised that this hasn’t been a bigger issue in the forums.
So I’m possibly looking for a new option…

MXO 2 has not been released yet…so comparisons are not possible at this time.

Well, I would be testing it now, but my Mac Pro is in use on a series and using a Kona 3. When this is not in use on that, THEN I will be able to test it out.
