Kona 3 output defaults to bars
Hey Folks
Even though I change the default output of the Kona card to be black in the Aja control panel, it always changes back to color bars. It’s a pain as I’m starting to get some burn in on my plasma monitor.
I’m running the latest Kona drivers 6.0.3 and FCP 6.0.5

when does it change back?
when control panel is open?
or when you close it?

this is a guess. I had something like this happen with the AJA Control Panel, where you change something, and it doesn’t “stick”, and you reboot, and it reverts to the previous settings.
If you are in a company, where you have a network, an IT admin, and you are not the administrator, but just a user on your MAC, you probably don’t have “permissions” to change the settings and have them stay. Tell your IT admin that you need full administrative privdgliges, or log in as the root user, and the settings in AJA Control Panel will “stick”.
