Kona 3 Is that all I need.
I recently bought a kona 3 card to use with my quad core g5 I have a simple set up that includes a jvc br-dv6000 dv deck. Do I need to purchase an I/O box in order to capture analog? And is the K-box needed? I installed the card and I am not getting anthing?

If that is all you have you don’t even need the Kona card, you would want to capture FW. But if you did want to capture the video via component analog you would need the AJA Io LA.

sacci is correct. The I/O LA would be a good choice for you, but if you want to spend zero money, you could go firewire in as well. The Kona 3 is for SDI and HD SDI sources only.
