In trying to put a 2.40 matte over an HD video image, I’m having some trouble with the downstream keyer. For the matte I’m using a 32 bit Targa file with embedded alpha. I set the DSK to be Graphic over Framebuffer and load the file. What I get is partially transparent red where the matte should be, so it’s reading the alpha, but only seems to be keying on one signal component rather than YUV. Has anyone successfully used the DSK in HD for a similar use, and do you have any hints? Thanks in advance…

    tone down that tiff.

16bit is the current max for the keyer.

    Thanks, Gary.

I tried using a Tiff and that worked.
