Kona 3 analog audio out?
Just got the Kona 3. Hooking it up to a BetaSP deck. I’m getting analog component video fine, but how do you get analog audio? The XLR’s are digital? Do I have to get a AES D-A converter?

If you own the K3 Box, you use the RCA outputs with RCA-XLR cables to feed your Beta VTR. If you don’t own
the K3 box – buy the K3 box – because it’s cheaper than buying an AES – analog converter to accomplish what you want to do.Bob Zelin
