What exactly do you mean by mix audio?

The analog outputs are rca which you will have to adapt to get to XLR or 1/4″ for a mixer to deal with the levels. I have found this method to be more noisy than getting a d/a (I use a flying cow from M-Audio).

Other people might tell you differently, but this is my experience.

Thanks for responding. I wanted to know if the sound quality coming from the RCA
is good or if it was noisy or untrue to AES Digital. I will need to go with a DA converter
    from what it sounds like.
I cant get a Flying Cow, they are out of production right now!!
any suggestions to a good low cost source

It’s strictly a D/A and not an A/D like the flying cow, but it does what you need at a good price.

    Hello..

have you experienced video delay problems?

I also have a Kona2+KBox… analg audio on the RCA is in sync with the digital video on both SDI outs (HD and SD) but Analog video (either composite and component) have a delay.

So I can’t use the RCA audio to feed a downconverted analog video.
It happen teh same converting the AES to analog?
puting and audio D/A converter delays also the audio and at the end both analog signals are on sync again?

    I’m working on PAL..

    thanks in advance…
