Hello I work on a MAC with After Effects CS3.
Do I just put this Plug In inside the Plug-Ins folder? Or do I have to put it inside a folder that is within the Plug-Ins folder? When I put it in the Plug Ins folder it didn’t work, but than I put it in a folder within a folder, and it worked! I was so happy until I couldn’t render any kind of quicktime codecs any longer, and my whole program just shuts down? Anyone have this problem occur with this plug in? I took the plug in out and its still doing the same thing. Just shutting down on me with this strange error message. I really like this plug in too, I’m pretty annoyed.
I must not be doing something right. Of course I have a tight deadline. I think I have to reinstall AE now?!?!
    urgh
    Anyone with thoughts greatly appreciated!
    Thanks so much

I have no idea what is going on with the plug in but try resetting After Effects preferences.

On a Mac hold down the Command + Shift + Option keys as After Effects starts up.

On Windows hold down Control+Shift+Alt as it starts up.
