I have been searching online and read the manual but can’t find a definitive answer to my question:
Can the KiPro mini take a camera’s 1080p30 signal and downconvert it to 720p60? (and pass that 720p60 signal out via SDI?)
Thanks for any help!

Try this- Config> in convert> 720, out convert> none, SDI out> file format. Assuming its the same as the KiPro.

Thanks for the help. I don’t yet have the kipro mini, trying to figure out if it will do everything I need before purchasing. I know that the KiPro does this, can anyone confirm that the mini does it as well?

The Ki Pro Mini does not feature up, down or cross conversion. The original Ki Pro and the new Ki Pro Rack do feature up, down and cross conversion. Whenever you have specific questions about AJA products, please feel free to contact AJA directly.

if you would add a UDC in the mix you will be able to record the converted sigal and transport it. or record the 1080p30 and crossconvert it with the UDC after the kipro mini.
