KiPro footage appearing as 60P but shot at 30P ingested in Normal mode
After shooting footage in 720P30 on the camera and setting the KiPro to Normal, the resulting footage is reporting to be 59.94 in both quicktime (movie inspector) and Adobe Premiere CS6 on import. I wouldn’t have noticed except we ran into audio sync issues that I can’t figure out any other reason for.
I am editing on a Windows 7 machine so that is one concern. VLC reports Apple ProRes 422.Jeff Baker

Over the wire, 720p is always 59.94.
If you wanted to remove the redundant frames, you need to turn of VFR mode to give you a 720p29.97 file.

Thanks the clarification on the SDI always being 59.94fps for 720P Jeremy, I did not know that.
I was still having audio sync issues so I tried dropping the prores file into a new premiere sequence so that it would automatically pick the settings instead of me doing it. I noticed another change: the footage is reporting as Non-drop-frame timecode and I had been setting it up as drop-frame since that was how we had it on the cameras (or so I thought).
Could this be causing the audio sync issue? Is this another SDI thing I need to know about?
