  KiPro & Alexa 2k solutions

  Hi there.
  Since Alexa SUP7.0.2 can record 2k, I’m wondering how KiPro will record a clean HD copy from those 2k.

  To get a review, in 2k mode Alexa drops the following formats of Rec Out Outputs: 422 (1.5G DL / 3G SL / 3G DL) // 444 (1.5G DL / 3G SL / 3G DL) // ARRIRAW (1.5G DL / 3G SL / 3G DL) // Mon Out Clone.

  As we work with KiPro (422 1,5G max) we dismiss the 444, ARRIRAW, and Mon Out Clone options. Ok, figure we work with 1.5DL , 3GSL, or 3GDL rec out outputs. Now, how can convert DL to SL?

  Can we put the AJA 3GM 3G/1,5 HDSDI Multiplexer as downconverter DL to HD SL? Anyone had trying this?

  I have a feature movie in couple of days, and the crew want shoot 2k and edit HD on set. So, Ki Pro will work as real time converter.

  Can I put 3GM as downconverter?
