    Kinoptic 5.7mm lens on EX3

    This lens ought to cover a 1/2″ sensor OK but I don’t know if it is good enough quality and therefore worth getting one to try.

    Anyone have any ideas or general info on using Super16 prime lenses on 1/2″ cameras ?

    I thought the same about 16mm lenses. A good friend has some beautiful Zeiss super speed 16mm lenses with a PL mount and what I found was that the adapter was to close to the sensor. Perhaps you can make it work with your lens.

    Ah, yes just looking at the lens port I thought that might be the issue. Explains why I can’t find any references to folk using those nice primes.
