Hey every1, once again im sorry about posting another question but here i am 🙁
so im making a news show for testing purposes and i created a sphere using a grid and some text.
now my objectif if possible was to wrap the text around the sphere so that it would follow the rotation which is established in the effect control for cc sphere. is this possible (basicly wrap the text around the sphere and make it rotate with the sphere)

Make a text comp that is twice as wide as the main comp.
Drag it into the main comp.
Apply CC sphere to it.
Make the text sphere bigger than the other sphere.
Make their centers match, so one is around the other.
Use the expression pickwhip to make the rotation parameter for the text sphere match that for the grid sphere.

I have AE 6.0 Standard (Educational) and it didn’t seem to come with some of these ooptions… Is there some place I might be able to get these?

Sorry Jeff, you have to buy the regular Std or Pro versions of AE 6.5 to get the plugs.
The only other options might be:
-purchasing Final Effects Complete from Media 100, but they (FEC plugs) may be dead, and they cost way more than an AE upgrade, or
-purchasing Trish & Chris Meyer’s Creating Motion Graphics books, one of which may have the FE Sphere plug included for free.
