  Killing Noise

  Hi CC,

  For those having tuned in, the arms thing turned out pretty decent. My subject and lighting is stark and has black straight hair (yay for keying!). The background is a muddy green too, so I luckily gave myself some leverage.

  However, from the low-key lighting there’s a predominant amount of noise in my shots.

  Could somebody tell me the basic approach to reducing image noise as the begin treating their edits?

  Thanks for all your help. Once I have something worthwhile to post, I’ll most definitely do it. This project is a learning assignment so it might take some time.
