I was looking into the Ki Pro Mini for an associate of mine and could not find the power consumption (Watts/ Amps) for this unit anywhere on the net. It does not appear to be in the Aja docs either.

Today I got my hands on one to test. Using a regulated power supply running at 13.5 volts I measured the current draw with a Fluke 87 Multi Meter. This is what I measured:

On, but not recording 11 watts.
On, recording HD-SDI stream 12.5-13.0 watts.

Hope this helps others trying to get this important information.

Ki Pro Mini power consumption is listed in the Ki Pro Mini manual, version 2.5. For detailed information, refer to the Appendix A section, “Power.”

Please note that the values listed in the documentation are conservative estimates; lower power consumption during idle, as noted, is likely.

My apologies, I missed the current draw information at the back of the user manual.
