This is similar to what was happening to me. On a KiPro Rack Mount, when up-converting 720p to 1080i in the record process, this same thing will happen. I contacted tech support & it did the same thing on their unit. For my problem, it is a software bug & they are supposed to fix it. It has been 4 months and nothing yet. It doesn’t happen on the regular KiPros, just rack mount.
