Keynote, QT, FCP = viewing problems
Help needed:
I started with a Keynote presentation (made by someone else) with slide size of 1920×1080 that included photos, video clips and transitions (no audio).
Exported the Keynote to a QT movie with the following settings:
Format set to Custom, Video = Full size (1920×1080)
Settings = Apple ProRes 422 Compression with 25 fps, Data Rate = AutoFirst issue is when I play back the QT Movie, the videos do not keep the same slide delay that was set in Keynote. The video clips delay for a long period before transitioning to the next slide. Also noticed some of the photos and text are not as clear as when in Keynote.
I import the Mov into FCP, edit timings, export to Compressor using Apple ProRes 422.
The final project was put onto a DVD (via Toast) and shown on a large screen (16:9) in Germany. I was told NTSC and PAL would work on this system.
Second issue is the presentation was not visible on the TV screen and only had black borders around the edges. It seemed as the presentation was too big to display. My main question: Is the Keynote slide size important when considering what the final project will be viewed on? What slide size is good for movie import to be viewed on an NTSC big screen 16:9? What slide size is good for PAL big screen 16:9? Why are my photos and test not clear when going from Keynote to QT?
