Keynote Frame Rate ERROR in FCP
This is VERY weird.
If I export a Keynote into FCP, I get a frame rate of 15 frames per second. Sometimes 3 frames per second depending on the codec.
However, if I play these files in Quicktime, I get the proper 25 fps that I selected in the exporting drop down of Keynote.
Keynote files in Final Cut Pro, DO NOT play properly, but they will in Premiere or any other program for that matter.
The solution so far is to import the file into Compressor and then re-encode it again, or in Premiere or something else.
Does anyone know a work around?
Does anyone know how to inform the people who make Final Cut Pro that this is happening so that they can fix it?

What codec are they in?
If FCP is reporting the wrong frame rate in your bin, open the file in Cinema Tools and conform it to your proper frame rate. This only takes a second, and requires not re-encoding if it is in a codec that Cinema Tools understands.

Unfortunately, Cinema Tools sees the file as 25fps. Weird I know.
I’m using ProRes, I’ve tried H264 and the Intermediate codec as well.

Its okay if Cinema Tools sees it as 25fps. Conform it to 25fps anyway. It wont actually do anything other than fix whats gumming up the works in FCP.
