    Just a quick note to say that we’ve finished work on a new version of Keylight which is available for download from our website:

    http://www.thefoundry.co.uk -> Downloads -> for After Effects -> Keylight

    For those of you with After Effects 7.0 Professional this is a free upgrade: just download the Keylight for AE Professional version (for your OS) and install it.

    Major Improvements:
    -Algorithm tweaked for improved floating point handling.
    -Inside mask alpha pass through improved, so multipass keying can now be achieved using intermediates and ‘add to inside mask’ on a single layer.
    -Compiled with the /3GB switch, so those of you with >2GB ram and who are using the /3GB boot ini switch will get improved large frame handling.
    -The plugin is now versioned in its name, so both Keylight 1.1 and 1.2 will now coexist under the same host.
    -Plus a number of tweaks and fixes (check out the release notes for further details).

    For those of you on After Effects standard, or on Combustion Windows, there are versions of the plugin available on our website for demo or purchase.

    Cheers
    Jack

    Thank you for the update. Any chance you tested this on a Intel Mac (under Rosetta)?

    Yup, we did indeed, and it all seemed fine here. If you notice anything odd however, please drop a line to support at thefoundry.co.uk and we’ll see what we can figure out.

    cheers
