Hi all…I’ve been trying to key some difficult DV footage…lots of ‘ringing’ around the subject etc…a colleague has managed to get a pretty good result using the combustion keyer and is suggesting that keylight is not up to it…I’ve searched around here and on the web but not really found anything detailed enough…ie following the ‘basic’ instructions doesn’t achieve the right result so I then start tweaking…almost at random…things then just go from bad to worse. The ‘curves’ like controls in combustion seem more usable ? Can anyone suggest a resource please…have good weekends…Roger

There is a user guide and tutorial files for Keylight on the Foundry’s website: https://www.thefoundry.co.uk/pkg_downloads.aspx?ui=EDA7D2C6-7882-4AF9-AFCC-F637BB8B569C
    which may be helpful.

Keylight should be able to handle that, depending on how good or bad the footage is. If you want to up the footage and your backgrounf, I will give it a shot. And since it is DV, you may want to try DVMatte Pro. It is designed specifically for DV footage and I have that plugin to use also.
