keylight leaves black spots -chroma key
Posted by Susan Lan on April 25, 2016 at 4:47 pmI’m doin the chroma key with key assists (from aescripts)then I pre-composa, and finally in teh composition I apply keylight (from foundry) and an animate mask in order to hide the big shadow of the character:
But it still leavs black spots, but I don’t want to lose hair detail, this is my images:

April 25, 2016 at 6:37 pmdo you see in the images I upload that appera a few “stain” around hair, i mean, the white background must be pure white, and I don’t know hoy to delete that stains/spots

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_i1hpi8Dhcbut what happens is that I didn’t have a shoot wihtout the character, then, I have still there the shadow of the character, which is what i’m trying to remove with keyligth, but in order to remove that shadow I must lose hair detail and i don’t want to lose it, any help please?

April 26, 2016 at 7:22 pmwhat happens to me is that, in order to follow the screen equalizer steps, I must have a photo of the chroma key without the character, as it tell here in his demostration minute 3:04:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A35EQZTnNCEfor that reason, I have to create my own “clean plate” (if you the the video you will understand me), and, in order to do my clean plate I erased the character from a photo (of the clip), but still remain the shadows of the character, loook:

and because of that, that shadows is what still appear in black “dots/stains” here:
