    Hey guys

Ive been doing quite a bit of green screen work lately, and notice that when ever i switch to the final mode using keylight and pre-render, alot of noise is introduced into the shot.

has anybody else had any simliar situations, when using the keylight plugin

Ive kinda resorted to using the intermediate mode and precomping, then using iether AE own spill supressor and/or colour finese to remove the spill.

Most of the footage is full res digital betacam, exported as an uncompressed QT file. Im also working in 16bit.

    Any suggestions

    Thanks
    Chris

Are you checking the status of it? Make sure there is no grey in the areas you don’t want.

The status is fine. my matte is pure white and the black is pure black.

The noise isn’t prevalent when i view it in intermediate mode, only when keylight tries to colour correct and despill using its standard settings.
