Were my question too unprecise?
Too many questionmarks?
Hope not hehehe…
In another threat some one suggested recording to SheerVideo codec,
can a Decklink do this?
Also would keying benefit from HD aquisition, maybe recording 720p in SheerVideo?
If not SheerVideo, which other codecs would yield better quality than DVCpro50/100 and
still could be handled more easily than uncompressed comming from the Decklink?

To answer your question,
1) Which BMD card will give me the best bang for the buck here?
I believe you would need a HDTV series Blackmagic card to work with the high definitions resoultions.
2) I use PP 2.0 for editing, can I use it for live capturing the key?
You can connect the camera and capture to the comouter you are just capturing live rather then from a pre-recorded tape.
3) Will I need a special hardware setup for SD uncompressed capuring, like a raid?
Yeah would need a sata drive set as raid stripe 0 to capture and playback the uncompressed sd clips.
4) will I later somehow benefit from the Decklink, besides I/O options?
The Decklinks are designed for a input and output board they just offer the I/O and allows you to connec to a broadcast video monitor to preview your work and high quality sound outputs.
I hope this helps?
