Hi, how can I do this effect in keying in fusion, below is the effect I’m trying to get and below that is the red suit we used on set.
    Any help appreciated.

You need a clean plate of your background, or at least something that is close enough to a clean plate of the background that it will fool the eye.

Then you simply need to key out your character and merge that over the top of your distorted clean plate.

One option for distorting the clean plate would be to use a 2D Displace which can give you a nice lighting effect similar to the reference. But a simple scaling of the image would also work.

There are a few more steps you’d need to take to get a good Displace which I can explain if you’re interested.

Are you able to share your clean plate and a more usable version of your character?

You can contact me at [email protected] if you prefer.
