  Keying onto transition

  Hi

  I’m finding I can’t key with an alpha output on top of a transition.

  I’ve set up and edit that dissolves from a shot on layer 2 to a shot on layer 1 and want to key an effect on top layer 3 using the key mixer and the alpha output. Resolve can’t process this and just shows the clip in layer 3.

  I have deleted the transition and used the keymixer and alpha output in layer 2 too as a work round so I’m fine – this is feedback for BMD really.

  I’m actually trying to recreate a Sapphire cloudwipe from the edit but as I can’t add the Sapphire plugins on the edit page this section of the effects package is unusable in Resolve.
