    Hi There,

Does anyone know how to keyframe expressions? I’m not very well versed with them and am trying to figure out how to change the value of the Wiggle Expression in various points along a null position layer.

    Thanks in advance.

Add a “Slider control” effect and then instead of typing numbers in the wiggle expression, pick whip the slider control value. Then you can keyframe the slider control. You can do this for both the frequency and amplitude.

Be careful when animating the frequency parameter though. If the frequency changes before the wiggle has finished a loop, things can get a bit jittery.

Thanks guys. I ended up just precomping my scene and splitting the layer while attaching it to different nulls in the end – but great to know for next time.

    cheers
