Can you keyframe the effects in Audition? Or what is the best way to apply an effect over time? I am pretty new to the program so it might be staring me in the face.

    Daniel,

What kind of an effect do you want? With the exception of fade out and some volume control I do all of my effects with Audition … Just insert the clip into the session side via the insert tab at the top of the screen, add the effect, remix the audio into the clip and then import the new clip into Premier … WILLIE

Look up “envelopes” in the help file. This will guide you in their basic use in multitrack view and it also describes what parameters in which effects can be automated in this way (eg Pan/expand, stereo field rotate, dynamic eq, apart from the basic volume and pan stuff.

Looking for the same thing for days now….. nobody really knows its a mystery.
Maybe audition can’t gradually dissolve or keyframe effects ….SO WEIRD!
You would expect it to have such a basic feature…
