I’m kind of new to C4D so hopefully this is an easy question.

I am keyframing the animation of a target camera against an arc spline. (The camera is just animating around the outside of a sphere.) So the animation works perfect to go from bottom to top of the spline. That works.

It is when I want to zoom out from the last point of animation that is not on the arc to create a slight drift. I try changing the Z value from 4750 to 4900 but it keeps snapping back to 4750. None of the keyframes are locked or out of the ordinary.

I’m guessing it has something to do with it not being on the target spline’s path, but I don’t know how to resolve this. Thanks a lot for any help.

I’m guessing you have the camera attached to the spline with a Align to Spline tag and the tag won’t let you move it at the end. if that’s the case you can turn off the tag at the end (keyframe unchecking Enable) and keyframe the camera or put the camera in a Null and animate the camera in the null when you need to. If that’s not what’s happening I need more info.
