I’m trying to keyframe a null object to move around in 3d space with an emiter. The null has to follow a specific path and not look like its doing a zig zag to get there. I’m pretty new to after effect so sorry if this is a stupid question Ive searched around couldn’t really find what I was looking for. Thanks for any help!

easy-ease the keyframes is my first suggestion, you can tweak things in the graph more, the secret is smooth curves, no “elbows”. Expressions will also keep you from jerking stuff too much, but that’s a different forum/topic.

… and be economical with your keyframes — use as few as possible and massage the bezier handles to get the curves you want.
