I want to have a text pop up on the screen (from the bottom) and then disappear again. I used to do this this in Vegas 9 using keyframes and it worked just fine: 3 keyframes, text at 3 positions and done.

Now I am doing my first project in Vegas 10. I do the same (except I have to select “animate” now to have the keyframe window). In the preview in the placement tab I get what I want, but on the timeline I get no text at all. What am I doing wrong?

If you upload your project (.veg) file, (without footage), we can have a look what’s going wrong

The problem seems to be solved, although I don’t know why. I think I am doing the same things as before, but now it seems to work

Couldn’t it be that you had a zoom applied in the work area, making you believe that framing was OK, whereas in fact, it wasn’t?

    My 2 cents,
    Frederic
