    Hi,

I just started fiddling around with Premiere Pro tonight. However, I ran into a problem after an hour or so. I can’t seem to make keyframes for videoclips other than with Opacity-settings. When I for example add Brighness & Contrast or some Blur-effect, the keyframe button don’t light up.

I have not been capturing any video of my own yet, I just been experimenting with some small video-files. So, is there a file-format problem or am I doing something very wrong?

You have to click the keyframe icon to make it “active”.

It is called toggle animation button (stopwatch icon), left to word brightness. Opacity is so called fixed effect, animation already toggled on (pointer in stopwatch icon).

The timeline allows you to set opacity keyframes, but the Effect Controls Window is where the rest are set.

Aaah, it’s so simple when you know how to do it. Thank you very much for the info:-)
