    This is a tricky one, but I’ll try to describe.

    WHAT I’M TRYING TO DO

    I have two robotic arms picking up one object each, then moving them to another place and dropping them.

    HOW I’M DOING THIS

    I have X and Z position keyframes on both of them, which I turned into “soft” so I could drag the motion path in the viewport. I’m also using the “time” special keyframe to ease this motion (this could be my mistake).

    THE PROBLEM

    Let’s say I’m moving the robotic arms with three sets of X and Z keyframes:

    1. Set 1 -> Set 2: Move the robotic arms above the objects
    2. Set 2 -> Set 3: Hold for a second or two
    3. Set 3 -> Set 4: Move to the next location

    For some reason, when I drag the first set of keyframes earlier, it impacts the position of the arms even after the third set of keyframes. Why could this be happening? BTW I have a constraint tag on the objects these arms are grabbing so that they follow the nulls of the ends of the robotic arms during Set 3 -> Set 4.

    If it would help, I’m happy to share my project file and a video of the issue.

    Thanks 🙂

    Matt
