    Greetings Fellow Encoders,
I am pinging the hive mind over an issue that, as a video professional I should know the answer to by now… Take a look at this URL (warning: dull, technical video):
    https://www.synopsys.com/apps/formality-demo/formality-ultra.html
See how there is a rhythmic glitch that occurs every few seconds or so? I use Adobe Media Encoder to create the mp4 (which is then converted to Flash via our archaic, content management system). Is there anything I can do to prevent these glitches, like extending the keyframe interval? (It’s not something I can easily test myself as another team handles content ingestion/upload for the web.) Thanks!
    Ed

If the rendered file is being transcoded I recommend an all-intraframe structure with key frame distance equal to one (1) frame. ProRes, DNxHD, or AVC-Intra would be better than H.264 for this application as long as the file is 720p or 1080p.
