Is there a way to use keyframes on a transition? Basically, I have a scene set up so that a circle wipe appears behind a person who I have edited out of the shot frame by frame (creating a layer with just the person and the original unedited layer behind them, with the circle wipe that I created with several color mattes between the original layer and the character layer) I want to set up an actual circle wipe transition so that the original bottom layer appears to be “erased” by the layer of color mattes to reveal the next scene.

OR does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this another way?

    Thanks,

    Sean

You could use the effect mask shape, create your circle for the background and keyframe that for your transition…just a thought.
