Keyer tool doesn’t work! Deadline tomorrow!
Hey guys!
Well, this is how my problem goes.
Since the update (5.06), when I apply Keyer, and hit sample color or edges, the select color tool or edges does not come up. Instead it selects the transform tool. So I can’t select the color I want! When I try to, it just drags the video!
I need to get this video up by tomorrow, but If I can’t key it, I can’t. So, please help me quickly!

Trash your preferences, that should fix it. If not, delete the app and redownload from the app store.

Seriously? I trashed all the prefs like a hundred times. Well, I still got a few hours, I’ll just re-download it.

You could also try keying in Final Cut Pro and then exporting the clips you need out and then import ’em into Motion too. Downloading it again might be your best bet in the long run but if you’re up against the clock, that might save you a little time in the event that the re-download doesn’t work.
