keyboard shortcuts wont work
I have After Effects CS3 on Windows Xp pro. Whenever I tried to copy, paste, cut or split (ctrl+shift+D) the layer using the keyboard shortcuts, it wont work. I have to go to Edit menu just to copy them. However, there are/is action like ctrl+K (comp settings) that work. But other CS3 products like photoshop and premeire keyboard shortcuts just work fine.
Is this new to after effects cs3? How can i correct this?

just try trashing the preference file and restarting.
on os X there’s a seperate txt file that containes just the keyboard-shortcuts preferences.
Not sure where’ you can can find it on a PC installation though.It’s called “Adobe After Effects 8.0 Shortcuts”
