    For those who are new to Premiere Pro, be sure to check out the keyboard customization dialog. You can set shortcuts for innumerable useful functions.
    One that I love it targeting a higher or lower track.
    Since I find that while my right hand is mostly on the mouse, my left hand tends to sit on the left edge of the keyboard – thmb near space, index finger on the 2 for some reason – so I set 2 to be overlay – 3 is insert, ~ is add tracks – W is target higher track – S is target lower track – make editing a pleasure.

    Yep, it has been there for a while. Someone also developed a utility a while back to make a printable list of your keyboard shortcuts. I’ll post a link once I find it.
