    Hi there,

    In AE 7, whatever happened to the shortcut that you can open up a layer or an effect of all the properties by hitting ~ (with the layer or effect selected)?

    That was very handy for closing multiple layers or effects. Also, by cont+tab, you were able to cycle through all your windows, what happened to that little shortcut?

    I am on a PC and comparing AE 7 to 6.5

    To expand/contract lists press SHIFT ~ (tilde is now used to zoom panels)
    To cycle through open tabs press OPTION / ALT SHIFT , or .
    To cycle through open viewers in a viewer panel press SHIFT , or .

    After posting the questions, I tried (on PC) control ~ and that expanded the layer and effects properties. Also, as you mentioned, shift , should cycle through the open comps, but I could not get this to work.

    I’m sure adobe had issues on keyshortcuts from 6.5 to 7, but I like the keyshorts on 6.5 better than 7.

    I’ve got a PC, AE7 and an AZERTY keyboard with french preset…
    “Tilde” doesn’t not work at all… even if i press shift or altGr with it..

    Any idea ?
