Keyboard shortcut?
Does anyone know of a keyboard shortcut for selecting the numeric field for a highlighted parameter? (like opacity)
Ok, so heres the work flow. I set two markers, then select my later. Shift/option/T to set a keyframe at the second marker, hit the numeric key for the first marker, then instead of mouse clicking the opacity numeric field and typing my new value, I need a keyboard shortcut to activate that field, so I can type in the value without having to grab the mouse again. (Carpul tunnel chalenged)No im not laziy,,,,,well, maybee alittle. But this is something I do countless times in a day. (Setting a 20 frame fade, for instance)
Better yet, can I create a keyboard shortcut to do the whole bit at the play head?
What do some of you heavy user do???

This is something I’ve wondered about too. For your most basic, repeated motions (like fade in, fade out) you can set an animation preset by selecting the key frames of the animation and going Animation > Save Animation Preset. Then to recall it you can pick it out of the Animation > Recent list or Animation > Load Animation Preset. This saves a lot of time on common animations.
I agree. Having a shortcut to edit the value of the selected key frame would speed up the flow. I hope someone knows one.

Yep. And you could simply add Distort > Transform too and create your own preset and put it in the middle right window (Effects and Presets window) so you could just pick it up and put it right on your layer.

How did I overlook the broader application of animation presets. Somehow, I had it in my mind that animation presets were for effects(and I use those),
Then I get my book out and the fist words of that section are,” If you can copy and paste it, you can save it” (even the non-animated)
