keyboard shortcut problem..
It is minor but its really bothering me…while I am working on a clip, if I want to highlight part of the clip I now have to shift+click outside of it. It wont let me click directly on the clip while holding shift. Here’s the weird part, it work’s if I hold shift+control inside the clip! It feels so awkward after doing it with just shift for so long 🙁 I cant figure out how to fix it either. How trivial 🙁 help please.

It works like that for me too in Vegas Pro 10, 11, 12 and 13. I even checked the 32bit version of 11. When you are shift clicking on the same track, it is selecting the whole event(s) between the clicks. So the Ctrl-Shift tells it not to select whole events and just highlight. I did not see anything in preferences that would change that.
