  • Keyboard Shortcut for Favorites?

    Posted by Steve Cohen on August 26, 2007 at 2:30 pm

    I seem to remember that in a earlier version of FCP (Maybe 4.5) when I created a favorite a keyborad shortcurt was automatically assigned to it.

    This does not seem to be happening now (i.m running (6.0.1).

    How can I assign a keystroke to a favorite or even assign it to a button bar.

    Thanks

    They are already assigned… check out the button list and type favorite in the search field. The list is found in the tools menu.

    You can also customize these using the keyboard layout.

    Thanks Jerry;

    I was thinking in reverse.

    I thought the Shortcut was assigned and then you linked it to the button.

    I don’t know where I got that from.

    Thanks again
