Keyboard Short cut to trim a clip in the timeline
Is there a keyboard shortcut to trim a clip in the timeline. I would like to place my cursor over a large clip and just hit T and have it cut off everything up to my cursor, but leave everything after the cursor. Is there a way to do that???

Not available in FCP. You can spilt a clip with Control-V and then ripple delete the front part, but that’s as close as it gets.
