Keyboard nudging problem
I love nudging the purple and yellow rollers one frame at a time using the keyboard.
As well as nudging clips in the timeline.For some reason my keyboard nudging abilities seem to have gone away.
Any ideas of why this happened? Now I just get an alarm sound and no nudge.

This usually happens when something is stopping the trim because there’s no more media available in one of the layers selected or perhaps by trimming the gap between two clips on a different layer means there’s no more space and so nowhere for the two clips to go.
Try deselecting the sync marks on other layers you don’t want involved in the trim..
Or maybe avid is playing up and you need a restart.. 😉

Hi Michael,
I’m going to assume that’s not the issue since it happens on ALL of my trims and even when I want to nudge a whole clip over in the timeline using the red/over-write tool.
Any thoughts on how to fix it?

Still no solution to this annoying, but not debilitating, problem.
Any ideas what could fix it?
Again, the rollers work if I push them with the mouse, but the formerly-reliable keystrokes don’t budget them. Or anything else, for that matter.

Silly me!
I forgot I remapped those keys for multi cam.
Problem solved!!
