Does anyone know if it’s possible to map the following functions in Avid?:

    – Target tracks (I want to send my video and audio to specific tracks without having to drag the source track indicators)

    – Mute and Lock specific tracks

    Thanks for your help.

I’m not in front of an Avid, but I believe if your turn on ‘auto-patch’ (timeline settings, maybe?), it will automatically patch the source tracks to the active record track. Just make sure you only have on record track active. I use this in conjuction with the V1/2 keys already mapped.

I don’t think there is a mute or lock tracks function in either the menu or the command pallette. If its not there, you can’t map it – unless someone knows different.
