Keyboard assign ” set level On Track – In/Out”

Hi,

Is there a way to assign “set level On Track – In/Out” or “set level – Global” to a key on my keyboard?
I tried this via command palette an then the “menu to button” reassignment but this did’t work.

Hope someone can help me with this one.

Yes.

Open the Audio Mixer. Select tracks on the audio mixer. Adjust the level of the clip you’re parked on – now underneath the fast menu you can set the levels or adjust the levels (will work on an in/out as well.)

This adjusts the clip volume NOT the auto gain (keyframing).

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your reply. But that was not the thing I needed to know, I probably wasn’t clear in my question but I wanted to know if I could assign a key on my keyboard to the “set level On Track – In/Out” in that fast menu?
I’m sorry for my explanation but my english is not so good.

I don’t think these tool menu items can be mapped, no.

No, your english is fine. My reading comprehension isn’t great when I’m sleepy. No, I just tested it, you can’t assign that to the keyboard. Nothing can be mapped from the audio mixer.

There is a gain adjustment in the clip menu (which can be mapped) – but it looks like it can only be used for clips in the source monitor. I was hoping that it would work on segment selected clips, but that doesn’t work either.
