key modifier for “ignore grouping”???
Posted by Gilles Gagnon on October 12, 2010 at 2:06 pmHi everyone,
Is there such a thing as a key modifier to temporarily ignore grouping?
I have created a keyboard shortcut to trigger this on/off but it would be even better if I could simply temporarily engage “ignore grouping” by pressing a key, doing what I have to do while grouping is off (ie. remove audio) and then releasing the key.
Thanks
Gilles

October 12, 2010 at 3:50 pmAleksey, i’m looking for a key modifier… for instance when you press the CTRL key and drag an event to time-stretch it.

October 13, 2010 at 12:43 amI’m on 8 here on my laptop and it’s default CTL+SHIFT+U. It’s the toggle for ignore event grouping.

October 13, 2010 at 12:57 amThanks Lawrance but this doesn’t work in Vegas Pro 9.
if this works in 8, it’s a strange sequence as a hot key modifier. you have to be a contortionist to do the sequence WHILE dragging events with the other hand.

October 13, 2010 at 1:04 amYeah. 🙂 I don’t have 9 on this system but I’m downloading 10.
Below is a link to a screenshot of it in Vegas 8… but of course you can change it there to something more useful. I’ll see if it’s 10 or not when I install.

See my original posts for what exactly I meant…
Sorry for the confusion…
