    Dear Masters,

I have a tiny problem with two keyframes of a cam position.

First I had a smooth move between two points. Fine. But than I wanted to pause the movement and inserted two linear keyframes with exact the same values. Unfortunatly there is still a movement inbetween … and I do not understand why.

Can someone give a hint please?

There’s two types of interpolation: spatial (via what route does the animatio go from a to be) and in time (how does the speed of animation vary inbetween a and b).

You need the spatial interpolation be set to linear, or toggle the “Hold Keyframe” option on the first keyframe.

It’s all in the manual actually.

I am aware of the chapter in the manual, but both of them are spatial, so the interpolation should be linear. and with two keyframes with the same value i guessed, that there will be no movement – but there is.

Yesss … but keyframes for position, rotation or scale can have different spatial and temporal interpolations.

Try making the first keyframe a hold keyframe, as Filip suggested.
