Can we expect for a future update to have real key signal when using key and fill? What I can see actually, is that the ATEM does not support gradient in the key signal, so the opacity (of the fill signal) drops down from 100% to 0% when hitting about 50% in the greyscale (of the key signal)….

    Hi Jeff,

I’m sorry but I don’t understand the issue you are seeing.

The ATEM keyers do support gradients, in fact there are example graphics installed with the ATEM Switcher Control software that have gradients and transparency in them.

Have you tried using a pre multiplied key? The gain control does provide some level of control for gradient edges but for the best results you will have to use a pre multiplied key.

I hope this information is helpful.

    Kind regards,
