Kerning Text

Check out the “Tracking” property in the text tool (on the Properties tab). It’ll do what you want, although it’s not technically “kerning” in the formal print-layout meaning of the term.

I have used this tracking feature to stretch the text in a static application, however what i am looking to do is, as the video rolls the words actually appear to stretch.

Keyframe the changes in tracking and you’ll get what you want.
I’ve done this before so I know that it will work.
